I had the pleasure and the honor of working on Rayman's design for his appearance in the last Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: Rayman in the Phantom Show.
As a long time fan of this character and his adventures since I was a kid, it was a blast to work on his character and modernize the look for new hardwares and visuals.
I'm particularly proud of the sinergy between the concept, 3D and animation departments, which throught great teamwork, created probably the most expressive version of this character in a 3D style.
I would particularly like to thanks the 3D artist who collaborated with me, Salvatore Ditrani, which is as well a Rayman fan like me, Riccardo Stincone, the technical animator who basically translated the 2D drawing in 3D and made it possible, as well as Marco Renso, the animation director of the project, not to mention all the animators that made Rayman so alive.
And as always, big thanks to my Art director Mauro Perini, for giving me the opportunity on working on one of my childhood heroes.
